class community singing performance + busy week

So today,I'll be blogging about my week.

This week was prolly one of the nicest week ever.On Thursday,there was a community singing competition going on for class 107-111.As this competition will determine which class will get to perform for the national day parade in our school, we all worked really hard for it.You prolly will think why the hell do they care about all this lame stuffs but we should do our best in everything right?

Initially,I thought that our class' performance will be really shitty but it turns out that I am wrong.We didn't even practice until the last few days before the performance.My co-form teacher actually gave an excellent idea.She suggested that we have three different groups.Singing,Dancing and Acting.

I am in the dance section and since 90% of us were from the dance society,it wasn't hard coming up with something that is different from the other classes.We ended up being quite creative.

The song that we will be singing/acting/dancing to is 'Di Tanjong Katong".I felt that our class is unique because we were the only class who chose that song,whilst other classes chose national day song.I felt that ours was better because we got to bring back the kampong days and reminisce.

I must say,everyone really took this seriously,for the first time.On the actual day of performance,I was really nervous because I was standing smack in the middle of the stage.If I screw up the steps,it will be quite obvious.But thank god I didn't. Phew!:]Dancers even got to put flowers on our heads.(suggested by Mdm Nisha)

Although the way I said it made it look so easy but it wasn't really as easy as you thought it was.It took quite abit of practice to get everything right.And in the end,WE GOT INTO THE TOP 3!Yes,I'm not kidding.For once,108 made it!I guess what made our class really deserving for this is our teamwork and class spirit.We settled our differences really easily and we don't hold grudges on others.We took this seriously and worked hard with the spirit.Although there were some conflicts along the way,we managed to solve them out.I hope that we can keep up with this performance and get the first during national day.It would mean alot to me.

I really love this performance so much because of the way I see how we work as a whole class.It's one of my favourite performances.You know what,I'm starting to really like this class alot.As compared to other classes,we are actually quite united.I heard from my friends that in their classes and some other classes,there are so many problems and fake friends.At least in my class,everything is real.Although some times I don't really agree with what some people do,I end up forgiving them in the end.

Okay.Enough about my class.

Swimming started this week on Wednesday.It was really fun for me as we get to be out of the school for lessons for once.It was really refreshing,with classes making me tired all day long.I'm in the beginners' class.Don't judge.We went to the Clementi Swimming Complex.

After that,me and my friends went to for the DC superheroes outing.I don't know why I volunteered for it.Perhaps I guess it would be fun?Initially,the six of us in my clique agreed that we would all go together but since they all had cca in the end and couldn't turn up,me and Clara and Siu Wen and Gabriena went instead.We went to the Singapore Philatelic Museum.It was fun I guess,looking at superheroes.But I still prefer spiderman to all the other superheroes.Besides,I rarely go to such places so I guess this would be a learning experience.We didn't got on the bus so we ended up taking a cab there.LOL I know what you're thinking.Don't deny.You'll be like"Those idiots."

                       I really like this vintage filter (golden) for camera 360.It gives really nice effects.

Also,I went to Marina Bays Sands this Saturday but there wasn't much to see,neither much to say,just some pictures for you guys.And,as usual,stressed and busy with homeworks and tests.It's really killing me you know.And there's this renovation going on in my block and soon it would be my house.My mum's getting really stressed out and she's busy cleaning up the house and shifting everything.The house's really hot,messy and dirty right now and it's unbearable.Hope this would end soon):

And these few days,I'm really...I don't how to put this but many things are really affecting my mood.The dreams I have these days are those that I don't want to have.If  I was in the past,maybe I would still be yearning for this dream to come but now,since I've already made my decision,I really don't want to dream about this anymore.It really affects me alot.I wish this would all go away.I'm happy with what I have now.I really don't want to change anything or go back anymore.
