I didn’t know what to blog about so I figured out that I
should share about ways I keep myself healthy.
First off, I have badminton training every Friday. I think
it’s really fun although sometimes it gets really tiring. Every time I had to
do lunges, it hurts so so much. This Friday when I did my lunges, I could
barely stand up. But it a great sports that really works you out. I have great
friends there and I really love their company. Moreover, I think that I like
them even more than my friends in school. Although many of them are much much
younger than me, like in primary school, but they’re really good friends. I
always look forward to badminton practices with them.:)I never used to give a
second thought about badminton but ever since I started going for practices, I
really enjoyed it and it is my ultimate favourite sport right now.
And then, on Saturdays, I go swimming. This isn’t really
what I do every single Saturday but I thought maybe I should start doing it
from now onwards. I just started this week and I hope I can continue with this
the following weeks. My school is sending us for swimming classes so I guess it
never hurts to do a little self-preparation. I basically force myself to swim
at least a few laps before I can go home.
Also, I go running every week at the park near my house. I
run about a few kilometres each time and it really kills. But it really helps
me a lot. For example, whenever the teacher asks us to run for PE lessons, I
could run faster than most of my friends mostly because I practice running. That
totally helped me like A LOT. The day is not fixed, depending on my mood but
I would not procrastinate to not do it. I
always do it eventually. I either do it on a Sunday or Monday. I’ve been
running every single week before the June holidays. It has been a few months I
guess. But because I was quite busy during the holidays and I wanted to rest so
I didn’t continue with the routine. But since school has reopened, so it’s time
to work my ass off now.
Lastly, wherever possible, I will walk home instead of
taking the public transport. It may be tiring but it benefits me in the long
run. I always dread walking home but it is actually the best form of keeping
healthy.
I am also figuring out more ways I can fully make use of my
time and more activities I can do to keep myself healthy but it also depends of
the amount of time I have, with all that homework and stuffs.
So I hope this has been beneficial or informative for you. Till
next time. :)
XOXO,
Sher
